DEDICATION
On September 24, 2000 the new building which houses the Central Food Ministry and was purchased through Lutheran Church Extension Fund was dedicated. We were blessed with several donations including a large wooden cross for the sanctuary wall; altar ware from Zion Lutheran in Hillsboro, Kansas; banners depicting the symbols/words of baptism, the Apostle’s creed; and communion in both English and Spanish. Over 100 people attended the dedication service. Special guests were Dr. Robert Gonzalez (Board for Mission Services, LCMS-Hispanic Outreach) and Dr. Albert Garcia (Director of Lay Ministry Program - Concordia University, Wisconsin).
